SC:I will use the writing Rubrics to help me.
I will assess my writing against the 7 elements
Ideas: 4 - I gave myself a 4 because I have several ideas that connect to the topic with some information.
Structure & language: 5 - Because my writing has a title, intro, body and conclusion. I have also used a passive voice, topic specific words with causal words and some conjunctions.
Organisation
5 - My ideas are organised into basic paragraphs.
Vocabulary 4 - Because I had used a range of words and Phrases to add detail and give specific information.
Sentence structure 4 - I can write sentences with different beginnings and different lengths and types.
Punctuation 5 - I can use correct sentence punctuation letters and full stops.
Spelling 5 - I spell the majority of Essential List words correctly in my Writing.

Wake up! Wake up! sleepy head!!!. As I open my eyes and hear someone yelling at me I see bella looking at me with a serious look.I asked her what time it was and why she got up this early.She said “ It’s 7:00 and we have to go to school” and I said to her in a angry voice IT’S NOT SCHOOL TODAY IT’S WAITANGI DAY.Then she said in a confused voice “ oh that’s right “ Then my mum said “ oi you to stop arguing.So then bella put her head backed down then I did.Five minutes later my mum had woken me up.
And Then I yelled in a moaning voice “ Why can’t I just have a nice sleep.Made it even worst my mum said we had to mow the lawns,feed the dogs,and do the garden but luckily I did have something that did make me happy was pudding with cream and custard for breakfast.me and bella said to myself this is so nice in a slow voice.
Then straight away my mum said “Come on let’s go mow the lawns and bella you feed the dogs”.I said” oh naah this is torture”Then bella was like” yeah nana “.Then we had no choice but to go and do it.so bella had finished feeding the dogs and I was still mowing the lawns.I can’t even say how tired how sweaty and how much pressure was on while the sun was beaming at my face.
Finally I had finished mowing the lawns I ran to my water bottle my legs moved like jelly as my heart was pumping.I grabbed my water bottle and sucked all that cold water in one Gulp my mum said you can jump in the pool now my mum had said a big smile had graced my face when my mum had said that.I ran without my swimming togs on just the clothes that I wore when I was mowing the lawns.As I had bombed in.I said to my self”what a day”. Then I carried on swimming.
